We are a family run business based
in the charming Cheshire village of Kelsall, close
to the historic city of Chester.
We sell both traditional bottled
ales and fine wines. In recent years we have in
particular extended our range of ales and now
stock in excess of 100 varieties.
We sell no canned beers whatsoever,
preferring to concentrate on traditional regional
ales, as well as many bottled beers from around
the world. An extending range within our ales
are the bottle-conditioned variety, which many
beer connoisseurs believe offer the ultimate bottled
beer experience.
At Apothecary Ales we believe that
it is important to support regional producers
who often have had a long tradition of brewing
and a strong association with the communities
in which they are located.
